Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to have my work recognised through regional industry awards, and these achievements are something I’m genuinely very proud of.

I’m a self-taught makeup artist who went on to professionally qualify and continue investing in my education, training and development throughout my career. After more than 10 years in the beauty industry, I’ve built my business through hard work, recommendations, repeat clients and a genuine passion for making people feel amazing.

My speciality is bridal makeup and occasion makeup, from natural and soft glam through to full glam. Whether you’re a bride getting ready for your wedding day, a bridesmaid, mother of the bride, wedding guest, or getting ready for a prom, party or special event, my aim is always the same: to create makeup that makes you feel confident, beautiful and completely yourself.

In 2023, I was absolutely thrilled to be named Bridal Makeup Specialist of the Year - North East at the English Makeup Awards.

Winning this award was a huge milestone for me and something that meant so much after putting years of work into building my makeup business.

Bridal makeup has always been a huge part of my career, and being recognised specifically for my bridal work was incredibly special.

From creating timeless, elegant bridal makeup to working with brides who want something more glamorous, I love the variety that comes with being a bridal makeup artist. Every bride is different, and I believe your wedding makeup should reflect your own personality, style and confidence rather than simply following a trend.

This award was a lovely recognition of the time, care and dedication I put into my brides and their wedding mornings.

To then win Bridal Makeup Artist of the Year - North East again in 2024 was honestly incredible.

Being recognised with the same award for a second consecutive year was a huge achievement for my business and gave me even more confidence in the work I was producing for my brides.

My approach to bridal makeup is all about creating a flawless, long-lasting finish while still allowing you to look like yourself. I work with a wide range of skin types, tones and ages, and I’m particularly passionate about creating beautiful makeup for clients who may have sensitive or challenging skin.

I use a carefully selected professional makeup kit, including high-end, cruelty-free and vegan-friendly products, and I continue to train and develop my skills so that I can give my clients the best possible experience.

For me, being an award-winning makeup artist isn’t simply about applying makeup.

Your wedding morning can be exciting, emotional, busy and sometimes a little chaotic! I’m there to make the makeup part of your morning feel relaxed, enjoyable and completely stress-free.

Over the years, I’ve found myself doing far more than simply creating a beautiful makeup look. I’ve helped brides with dresses, steaming, getting ready, last-minute organisation and those little moments of reassurance that can make such a difference on a wedding morning.

That’s one of the things I love most about bridal makeup. You’re not just booking someone to do your makeup. You’re inviting someone into one of the most memorable mornings of your life.

I take that responsibility seriously.

Continued Training, Education & Development

Although awards are a fantastic recognition of my work, I never want to stop learning.

The makeup industry is constantly changing, and I believe that staying current with techniques, products, skin preparation and professional education is an important part of being a great makeup artist.

I regularly invest in professional training and development, learning from other experienced makeup artists and continually refining the way I work.

I’ve also expanded my knowledge around skincare and skin preparation because I believe that great makeup starts with great skin preparation.

My goal isn’t simply to create beautiful makeup on the day. I want my clients to understand their skin, feel confident in their makeup and know that they are in experienced hands.
